Dispatch: Email meets GTD App Reviews

Potential, but still rough

Not a bad start, but its noticeably slow at pulling down email, to the point of breaking flow which is contrary to the point of these types of apps: you want to get into a flow with your email so processing it is fast and relatively painless. Worth watching, though this sub-genre of email apps sure is getting crowded quickly: Dispatch will need to differentiate itself quickly. One personal quibble is that many of these apps are designed for right-handed users, so the gestures sometimes feel awkward & "backwards" for lefties like me. Fringe audience, I know, but worth noting.

Very solid start

Having it linked with so many other apps is awesome. However, what youre missing is the ability to archive into whatever folder you want. I have 20 archive folders to organize myself. Each email must be archived in a different spot. This needs to be added. When you swipe for archive a pop-up of where it should go should be added!

Requires log in with your email

Doesnt work with regular email

Is this a joke???!!

Hey, dudes, at least make folders OTHER THAN THE INBOX accessible, otherwise this app is a joke. Wish I could get my $ back...

Crashes constantly for me

Great idea but UI is very clunky and it crashes or hangs constantly on my iPhone 4. Will try again if I upgrade phone but other than that this feels like a total waste of money.

Triage actions make this really powerful

Nice, clean interface too

Caution. Only limited email supported. No POP or exchange

Tried a bunch this is the best

Used to use my inbox as a to do list but no more. Dispatch helps me keep things clean while putting things where I can find them when I need them

Buggy and not for business use!

The notification “tone” of this app is more like a soft click which I never hear, and you can’t change the notification sound, so if you actually want your phone to get your attention when you have a new email, this is not the app for you. Also just buggy performance - today the app keeps showing 4 new mail. Every time I open it to see the new mail it flashes a screen showing some unopened mail from earlier today and then reverts to showing all as read, which is the case. Go back to home screen, after two seconds the App badge reverts back to showing 4 unread mail. Buggy and not useable! I want my money back.

Brilliant

Omnifocus and Evernote integration was something I really needed.

The BEST email app for iOS. Period.

Dispatch has become my go to email app, not only on iOS, but across all platforms. The ability to make every single email actionable right from the get-go is invaluable for my productivity. If youre looking for email application that allows you to get out of your inbox and where you need to be as effectively and efficiently as possible, then look no further than Dispatch. I cant recommend it enough.

Favorite email app

I dont even get that much email but all of the details in this app make it a pleasure to use!

my fav mail box

I have tried lots of third party mail box apps. Dispatch is loaded with the most relevant features. Fantastic customer support

My preferred Email app

Dispatch has earned its place in my dock. A great email app with quick and easy triaging of emails and quick actions within emails. Now with folder access its become even better. Highly recommended.

OK, I guess ...

Disappointed to note its iPhone-centric and reformatted design ... Not overly inventive either. Naff.

Dispatch is perfection

Ive tried so many email clients out there, trying to make using my iPhone for email half as productive as using my Mac. Dispatch is the only app Ive found that makes emailing from my phone quick, easy, and enjoyable.

Best of the bunch

As far as functionality goes, Dispatch is at the top of the heap in terms of mail clients for iOS. A quick note to first time users - this app does not have the ability to send push notifications. Thats not an issue for me given the way I use email but it might be for you. Things I love include: - An automatic unsubscribe function for those annoying unsolicited emails. - Logical actions to sort your email - The ability to create custom snippets This list goes on and on and its all wrapped up in a clean UI. Very highly recommended.

Pro features

Dispatch can do more than I can even envision for a mail client. Im really excited about the better integration with Drafts 4.

Great idea with a huge weakness

This app is great, its interface is awesome but unfortunately it doesnt fetch emails properly. Sometimes it takes 1 hours until I get notified about the new mail that I received while all other mail clients notify me immediately.

Changed the way I do email

I find this so useful I find myself wishing it was available for my desktop
