Dispatch: Email meets GTD App Reviews

Not only is this a great email client with the ability to send to a number of third-party apps that I use every day, the developers have been extremely active in improving this app. Unified inbox is just one example. I think this is a great app to hitch my wagon to since it seems like its constantly improving. Great job developers! Highly recommended. Update: latest update makes linking to message:// URLs easy and effective. Incredibly responsive developers. Cant recommend enough. Update: Dispatch on the iPad Pro is wonderful. Great keyboard shortcut support.

I run two small businesses, and Dispatch is central to my productivity and communication. I love triaging emails from the inbox, easily formatting text, and viewing many accounts and labels at once.

As an avid GTDer, reading email in my inbox means analyzing it as actions, reference, or trash. Dispatch is perfect for that, and I use it any time I need to triage email on my iPhone. The integration with OmniFocus is the main selling point for me - if a message is actionable, a couple taps puts a task in my OmniFocus inbox.

Spark, Cloud Magic, Boxer, Air mail, Outlook (you get the idea). All great apps making short work of email when setup correctly. For me, however, and this comes down to personal preference, Dispatch is the only one Ive landed on over and over on the IOS platform. Surprising, Dispatch even beats out mail clients with corresponding Mac programs (Airmail is very powerful and comes in at a close 2nd - especially patterned with theyre Mac email client). For the iPhone, however, nothing quite comes as close to perfection as Dispatch.

Easy Reminders and Events from Email. Best implementation of any iOS app. Now apps that dont have an email address to allow making tasks or events in them by email forwarding are accessible through this clever mail app. Its quick and easy.

It just works for me and is very useful for me to handle my business email on my phone.

Update 2. Still no print ability. Sad. Still no response. Really too bad. So much potential in this app. Update Dropped from 5 stars to 1. iOS 9 and new version crash on startup on both iPhone 6 and iPad. Deleting and rebuilding fixed my iPad but I DONT want to do it all over again on my phone! Support nil as before. First, support is nonexistent and non-responsive...otherwise it would be 5 stars. That said, this mail app has a really nice work flow and allows rapid "dispatch" of your mail. The only glaring omission is the lack of a print button to help dispatch of some mail. While I dont print to paper I do use Printopia on my Mac to print/archive PDF versions to a document database. Works great from Mail or Mailbox but is glaringly missing from Dispatch. Im hoping its just me not looking in the right place but so far, no joy. I use the app as my main mail app but its sad that I have to leave for another app just to print or save and image to the camera roll. Id buy it again but its sad that support requests are not honored or even acknowledged. Must be a small shop. They continue to update app so there is at least that.

I receive a large amount of emails per day and even after choosing to have fetch, notifications and badges on, Im getting nothing unless I actually go into the app. What a waste of $7

Has worked bug free for me as a simple hassle free way to manage all my email accounts and share between them. Only thing that would make it better is if it synced emails from your account that were written not using dispatch. Otherwise its been great.

Excellent product. Definitely my go-to app for processing email. Would love to see a desktop version to complete the trio of iPhone, iPad and Mac options for handling my email. Also would love to see a Snooze feature. This and the above would make me LIVE in Dispatch! The power to quickly and efficiently triage and govern my email workflow is unparalleled. I turn to Dispatch to save or print to PDF emails I want to file away and delete. And Ive been looking and testing for years before settling on Dispatch! Bravo team! Keep up the good work!

I had hope for this app, it has some great features like integration with Dropbox. The problem is that it does not work. And worse yet there is just about zero help. Little documentation and they do not answer support requests
