Dispatch: Email meets GTD App Reviews

Nicht kaufen - dont buy it

Users have reported problems with the following services: Office 365, Outlook.com, Live.com, Yahoo Business Mail, Dreamhost. We do not recommend buying Dispatch if youre using any of these services.

perfect companion for todoist

now I can process my inbox into Todoist in less than 10 minutes per day. Thank you!

Slow

I dont have the fastest devices (iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2), but Apples Mail works just fine, whereas Dispatch just feels slow. Ive tried it for a few days, but unless an update improves the situation, I will toss it.

iCloud email doesnt work on IOS 10

Cant add.

The default email client for OmniFocus users!

A beautiful app which makes short work of dispatching email. If you are an OmniFocus user this is the best app to get emails you have to action into your workflow and your inbox at zero.

Wont launch under 9.3.5

This WAS a good app - just started crashing for no particular reason. Wont even launch anymore. Not the sign of a good app.

Dispatch

Hello Development. Very useful outside to send quickly. I hope you can separate primary mails and others like Gmail. Would you add this capability? Cheers, Endo

No refresh?

I really wonder why it is not updated for a long time. No email reaches at the app inbox although background refresh is open. Please urgent help!

Very good app with no-nonsense featutes

Lightweight, simple, efficient, fast and great for professional use. Interestingly much overlooked in the market beside the other toy-like new generation bloatware mail clients.

iPhone 4s.

iPhone 4s. App crashes after launch. In previous versions everything was fine. Update: fixed.

Silent support. Several bugs and inconveniences

Developer doesnt reply to feedback via TestFlight or ordinary mail. I wrote new bugreport but Im sure they dont read them. So by now 1 star instead of 4. *** (FIXED) Crashes in iOS9 (iPad Air, iPod) in 2 seconds! //Including the newest version too. Thank you for the great mail app for iOS! The app development goes slow. But it does on. After the latest update, it became much better! Now it is universal also working on iPad, has userpics and snippets suggestions. I wish support to be more responsive though. (Ive wrote to support but got no reply.) 3. You may need to move all the incoming mail to Archive after processing, or to keep it inside Inbox for working purposes. However, the app has an option only to show up to 200 recent letters. When you scroll down Universal Inbox to the list bottom, there is no button [Load more…] under it. This confuses a bit. This button appears under individual Inboxes. 4. Please add an option to group Inbox by the recent sender. See how its done in Unibox for Mac. You have very compact list of persons ordered by either the date of most recent letter person sent to you or the letter you sent to a person. Inside the persons letter list all letters look as a conversation with this sender and may be organized in a smaller conversation threads like it done by now already. 5. The letters list could have thin dividers to group it by dates. 6. The app sometimes sticks at mail checking and the throbber can stay turning for a lot of minutes without effect. If you go to single letter and then come back to list, you cannot say whether it failed to check mail or all check has completed and no new mail available. 7. The letter header has handy menu for the senders email. It has Mail button but this creates letter with blank bcc. I expect it to add the initial letter accounts email to Bcc. 8. Speaking of Bcc, the app has very handy feature: auto-add From to Bcc. But this works only with reply to a letter. When you compose new blank letter, the auto-Bcc doesnt work. 9. If a letter contains graphics each image tends to be displayed in its 100% size. More correct way will be to downsize it to the viewport and zoom in on demand. In the CSS terms it will be img {max-width: 98%; max-height: 92%;} The conversation and each letter may have a list of all sent documents and images, as its done in Apple Messages. 10. When you attach images there is no line displaying the letters whole size and attachments size. 11. System notifications should contain buttons: Mark as read, Archive and mark as read, Reply. The Archive and Read buttons exist in CloudMagic notifications, for instance. 12. A reply shows Remove salutation at the start of composing. But a way to switch to another salutation template stays unclear. old suggestions================ 1. DONE! Please, add (rounded) userpics from Address book to the letters list and letter view. (They could be turned off by default.) Its done quite good in myMail app and Canonball, see also Unibox for Mac. It streamlines letters sorting and working with mail dramatically. When you see the logos of organizations and persons faces, you may suggest the letter contents even before you start reading so that you can focus on the mail you need to work with at the current moment. By now you are forced to read most of the mail headers and this takes time. 2. DONE! Please make the app universal. By now it runs on iPad but isnt designed for its screen size. I guess many people already had asked you to do this. Your app is great and I dont wish to switch to something else on iPad. ===========================

Indispensible

Do you get a ton of email? Do you need to triage your email like a hospital emergency room? Does some mail need to go to your todo app? Some to a pdf file for filing? Do you have to unsubscribe in some emails? This app will do it all! Just remember you will never get support or unfortunately a desktop app.

Seems pretty awesome when its not crashing

Pretty sure I have only been able to use it for max 10 minutes before it crashes. During those ten minutes, I really like it. The crashing is pretty frustrating though.

Great email app, but updates are too far apart

This is my favorite email app thus far, however it is buggy and the app updates are just too far apart (I know the dev team is small, but for the price of the app I would expect more...). Adding attachments (images, Etc) to an email is a sure fire way to crash the app - having to have multiple email apps set up so that you can reply/send emails kind of defeats the purpose....

Crashes more than any app I own

crashes every few minutes. search doesnt work at all. a shame as the functionality and design are great. had this for a year. keep coming back to it as I want to use but the crashing is still prevalent. support is non responsive.

Issues with Todoist integration otherwise, Great app, adds lots of functionality to email

DO NOT TRUST DISPATCH. DELETES YOUR EMAIL.

Used to be a great email program. New, buggy garbage from an uncaring, unresponsive developer. Deleted from my iPad before it causes any more problems for me. Going to see if its not too late to get a refund for this broken junk. It started doing this thing where if you are replying to an email, and your reply gets too long (or something) suddenly the entire thing swipes to the right off screen. Then you tap it and bring it back interview, and your email is just GONE. Its not saved in your drafts folder, its not anywhere. You just lost your email to this app and you have to start over again. It just goes up in a puff of smoke, and you are screwed. You can try writing to the developers. I gave them a couple of days, and I havent heard back, and I just lost another important email, and this app is GARBAGE and I will never make the mistake of trusting it again.

Crashes on open, non-responsive support

I love this app and what it does, especially the OmniFocus integration. But two things dissuade me from recommending it to others: 1) latest version crashes on launch. Will try delete/reinstall as a last resort, but this will likely mean I need to recreate one-off passwords for my email accounts, and re-add them to Dispatch. This is both inconvenient and time-consuming. 2) support is non-existent. At least the times that Ive emailed support I have yet to receive any sort of reply.

Last Uodate - not so much

Dispatch has been my goto email app since it came out. Rick solid performance and reliable. This last update has been horrible. The app will no longer open. Crash after crash. Come on guys, lets get this fixed.

Bad update

App crashes. Will not even open.
