Dispatch: Email meets GTD App Reviews

Dispatch a worthy email manager

I have tried all the IOS email managers and Dispatch is one of the best for every day use.

The perfect email app

Seriously. All the missing things we want from Mail plus some amazing integrations. Unread folders per email inbox. Fast switching from All to Unread to Star. Fast swiping. My favorite being textexpander BUT the integrations are faster than in other apps, half the key strokes to save an attachment to Evernote or drive. LOVE IT!!!!

Favourite email client

Dispatch is my preferred place to do handle email. I wish email on my Mac worked this well.

If you have Things you need this app.

I had been looking for a way to manage my email in Things. There is a hack on the Mac desktop that allows you to select text then hit a keystroke combination to create a new todo in the Things InBox. But I am using my iPhone for email more than my desktop so this doesnt help. Dispatch allows me to create a Todo in Things easily. If only there were a shortcut back to Dispatch like in Due. Dispatch compares well with Mailbox. I liked Mailbox and also Boxer, but these have a separate todo list and I didnt want yet another list. It would be nice if the folks at Cultured Code could play nice with these guys. Its a great front end for their software.

Continuous crash!

Cannot use it at the beginning by crashing every time start it on iPad mini.

重宝してます

オムニフォーカスやEvernoteへの連携で重宝してます

Great!

A great email management addition to your workflow.

素晴らしい

Mailをタスクアプリなどの外部に投げられるのがこんなに便利だとは。 というか、iOSでMailシェア機能をつけてないのがおかしいのかも。 Dispatch, Workflow, Launch Center Proの3つは必須かな。 Exchange(Windows系liveアカウント)への対応をお願いします。 iCloudメールに対応しているとのことですがログインできません。ひょっとしてApple IDのパスワードを入れるということはないですよね? メールアプリにApple IDのパスワードを入力したくないのですが。

I cant attach any files for iPhone 6 plus

Unreliable, unusable and terrible app

Getting worse and worse with every update. It used to be a top notch email client, so its even more depressing that devs let this app become an unusable behemoth.

Excellent

But search function doesnt work with Russian language.

Silent support. Several bugs and inconveniences

Crashes in iOS9 (iPad Air, iPod) in 2 seconds! //Including the newest version too. ------- Thank you for the great mail app for iOS! The app development goes slow. But it does on. After the latest update, it became much better! Now it is universal also working on iPad, has userpics and snippets suggestions. I wish support to be more responsive though. (Ive wrote to support but got no reply.) 3. You may need to move all the incoming mail to Archive after processing, or to keep it inside Inbox for working purposes. However, the app has an option only to show up to 200 recent letters. When you scroll down Universal Inbox to the list bottom, there is no button [Load more…] under it. This confuses a bit. This button appears under individual Inboxes. 4. Please add an option to group Inbox by the recent sender. See how its done in Unibox for Mac. You have very compact list of persons ordered by either the date of most recent letter person sent to you or the letter you sent to a person. Inside the persons letter list all letters look as a conversation with this sender and may be organized in a smaller conversation threads like it done by now already. 5. The letters list could have thin dividers to group it by dates. 6. The app sometimes sticks at mail checking and the throbber can stay turning for a lot of minutes without effect. If you go to single letter and then come back to list, you cannot say whether it failed to check mail or all check has completed and no new mail available. 7. The letter header has handy menu for the senders email. It has Mail button but this creates letter with blank bcc. I expect it to add the initial letter accounts email to Bcc. 8. Speaking of Bcc, the app has very handy feature: auto-add From to Bcc. But this works only with reply to a letter. When you compose new blank letter, the auto-Bcc doesnt work. 9. If a letter contains graphics each image tends to be displayed in its 100% size. More correct way will be to downsize it to the viewport and zoom in on demand. In the CSS terms it will be img {max-width: 98%; max-height: 92%;} The conversation and each letter may have a list of all sent documents and images, as its done in Apple Messages. 10. When you attach images there is no line displaying the letters whole size and attachments size. 11. System notifications should contain buttons: Mark as read, Archive and mark as read, Reply. The Archive and Read buttons exist in CloudMagic notifications, for instance. 12. A reply shows Remove salutation at the start of composing. But a way to switch to another salutation template stays unclear. old suggestions================ 1. DONE! Please, add (rounded) userpics from Address book to the letters list and letter view. (They could be turned off by default.) Its done quite good in myMail app and Canonball, see also Unibox for Mac. It streamlines letters sorting and working with mail dramatically. When you see the logos of organizations and persons faces, you may suggest the letter contents even before you start reading so that you can focus on the mail you need to work with at the current moment. By now you are forced to read most of the mail headers and this takes time. 2. DONE! Please make the app universal. By now it runs on iPad but isnt designed for its screen size. I guess many people already had asked you to do this. Your app is great and I dont wish to switch to something else on iPad. =========================== Thank you in advance!

Waiting for ipad/universal update

Have taken it’s place in my home screen

Best email for iPhone

Could be better? Only adding a "coming back" feature like Dropbox has.

Lacking push notifications

Or it Would be the best mail app overall

Good!

The best client email for iPhone. Id like to have it for iPad.

Best email client hands down for iOs

No other words need to be said. Musti nstall app. Cant wait for an iPad version.

Problems - and NO HELP.

Issues - App crashes when I attach a photo. Also contact photos do not appear. But dont count on any response from these guys – they wont return any of my requests for help. Will get refund.

Overall great app!

I use 2Do extensively as a task manager. This email client is the best for transforming incoming emails into tasks! Elegant interface. -needs ability to view emails in landscape (only portrait available presently)

Overrated

I would like to use provide an honest review as this app is definitely not cheap and I hope this will help others before they decide to buy it. In terms of overall design and productivity, this is a great app. And if you also value your privacy this is the app to get as it does not save any emails or login information on a server/cloud. But the problem is that it doesn’t work all the time. It crashes a lot when you move between different folders, usually you need to “pull to refresh” in order for the folder to show you the correct emails, and background update of badges and notifications don’t really work. And since it is created by only 2 developers customer support is pretty much zero. I have tried many times to contact them via the app and on twitter but haven’t received a single response so far. But to be fair, I must say that the app does perform better on my iPad Pro (doesn’t crash as much as on my iPhone SE), but badges and notifications don’t work.
